Why oh why do I always let my yarn get out of control!?!? Look at this mess. I have been debating for the longest time If I should throw this messy tangled up yarn away or should I try and detangle it. Ohhhh but it looks so petty. I can’t part with it.
I finally thought of something I wanted to do with (at least) one of my hoops; Lumpy Space Princess! The back isn’t finished yet, I’m waiting for it to dry after washing off the pencil marks. Felt on pink cotton.
Oh here another fun yarnbombing. I originally had done this one at night like around ten oclock on a saturday night. I was a little scared and I was on high alert. It was Saturday night and right around the corner from me was a restaurant with several loud drunk guys standing outside.
As I was tying the bows to this little tree all I could think was sweet Jesus don’t let one of these drunk guys come over here and ask me what I’m doing!!! Thankfully they were to busy being drunk and yelling at each other to even notice me. Wheewwww.
Heres a super early morning yarnbomb I did this past winter. I got up at 5am to do this one. I really thought that no one would be out and about at 5am but NOPE! People were out and driving around at 5am.
It was hard trying to yarnbomb on a street corner while people are driving past you and staring straight down your throat while you knit. Oh and did I mention it was a warm 35 degrees outside as well and I had no gloves on to. Oh yeah just lovely conditions for a yarn bomb.
Heres a yarnbomb I did on a Lowes parking lot a while back. I actually had zero intentions of doing a yarnbomb that day.I just so happen to have some knitted pieces with me when I was out running my errands. So I thought ehh why not. I really don’t like yarnbombing during the day though.
I prefer sneaking around at night so no one can see me. I feel so anxious during the day like everyones eyes are on me while I knit.I actually had a lady come up to me while I was knitting this to the tree. I was soooo scared. I thought to myself Oh God she’s gonna ask me to take this down. But instead she asked me what I was doing and I happily told her I was yarn bombing.
